Play Ball!

The weather continued to hold out for us and we had another beautiful day! One of our favorite summer activities is going to the ball field to watch Keaton and Carson play baseball. Today, was Carson's game. He is such a power hitter and a great second baseman!!

Gary's brother, Chris is the coach again this year. Today, while he was outfield coach, he had to break up two bored little boys, who were sitting in the outfield playing/talking during the game. Aren't 5 year olds great?

Derby 133

We spent Libby's 1st Derby down at the lake. The weather was going to be sort of yucky, but it ended up being a beautiful day! Gary, Libby & I headed down Friday and got Libby's room renovations accomplished so we could sit back and relax for the remainder of the weekend. Here Libby sports her new U of L onesie...a Derby gift from her Aunt Carrie & Uncle Chris.

Fun in the Sun

As luck would have it, it was so nice out Saturday, that we decided to take the boat out for a spin before the "Fastest 2 Minutes in Sports". Libby did really well with her Life jacket and enjoyed the boat! I was pleasantly surprised!

Bed Head

There is nothing better than mornings at the cabin. I love waking up, not having to rush to be one place or another, sipping coffee, sitting on the deck, and listening to these wacko kids play! Libby & Carson snuggle up after breakfast.

What camping weekend would be complete without roasting hot dogs and making S'mores by the campfire!? We enjoyed the warm weather and great company around the fire!

Cut & Color

After a short prayer to the "budget gods" (inside joke between the Norton employees), I had the day off today and hung out with Libby. We went to her Mimi's shop, Together Again, and Emma practiced putting color on Libby's hair. She has her own beauty chair, and certainly is a pro!

As you all saw in an earlier post, my dad got a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle. I found this onsie at a yard sale and thought that it was too cute! I knew Dad & his biker friends would enjoy this photo of our biker babe!
