Wedding Planner

After breakfast, I headed over to Shena's apartment to finalize a few wedding plans. As you know from Shena's blog, she got engaged two weekends ago in Vegas! Her and Gibby are planning a November '08 wedding, so we are eager to get a few plans set in stone. Today's agenda was checking out Kye's for the wedding/reception spot. It was a little more than we thought it was going to be, but I think we are going with it. It will be so beautiful! After our appointment at Kye's we drove over to David's Bridal to see a few things. Shena was wanting a burnt orange color bridesmaid dress, so we wanted to get an idea of what selections we were going to have at David's Bridal. I tried on one that we loved! After we decided that "Persimmon" was the color of choice, we glanced at the bridal gowns. With only a short time (Shena & Nancy both had to work) we didn't really get into bridal gown shopping, but did get a good idea of how overwhelming it is going to be. Above, Shena shows some of her emotions. I have been named the "Matron of Honor/Wedding Planner" and Libby will be a flower girl! We are so excited!
