It has been such a fun, but long softball season. As you all know, our team..."Contract-A-Hoe", has lost every (yes, every) game we have played. We were scheduled to play "Jack's" last Friday for the first game of the tourney, but we were rained out. No love lost, as far as we were concerned, since "Jack's" is the #2 team in the league, and we are...well, last. Anyhow, the game was rescheduled for tonight, and we went pumped, but all knew that we would be playing the last game of the season. We started the game as Visitors...batting first, but scoring 2 runs at our first at bat. If nothing else, we were excited about that because there have been many games that we have not scored a thing!! We continued with that pace, staying just ahead of Jack's the entire game. It all came down to the final inning...it looked like something just out of "A League of Their Own", or "Bad News Bears"....up by one, bottom of the 7th, two outs, runner on 3rd and their best player with one strike. Shawn threw him the best pitch...and he struck out! We were all so excited!! Finally a win! Good job, Contract-A-Hoe, you all played a great game!!

Great job guys! I guess we are kicked off the team. I had already made plans for this Friday, I guess now I will have to cancel them.
Yeah, you are right! It's Contract-a-hoe. We went back and forth, and now I can never remember what we setteled on. My bad. I'll change it!!
