Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!

Today was such a beautiful day that Amy & I decided to take the girls to the Louisville Zoo. Here they are awaiting their first train ride thru the park. They loved these zoo animals that we let them play with!
After our train ride, we walked around the park, dodging the many school field trips. Wow, you teachers deserve some sort of award! Libby & Sophia pose in their strollers.

Photo op with the rhino.

By far, the girl's favorite part of the trip was the petting zoo. Sophia (who is a zoo member) had already got to experience the petting zoo once before, and was as excited as ever! Libby thought they were like the dogs that she is used to at our house! Here we are with some sort of Llama (who is trained to wave--check that out!)

Libby thought they were funny.

Sophia just walked all around, inspecting it.

The Louisville Zoo's new baby Elephant. How cute!

Thanks, Amy & Sophia for letting Libby & I use your passes and visit the zoo. It was so much fun!

We had so much fun at the zoo with the Banet girls. Thanks for the train ride. It was great fun. Maybe next time we can bring a miners hat with a light for Libby.
