Cookie Monster

This afternoon Libby and I went out to Nonna and Pop's house for a little cookie baking. We made a total of 14 different types of Christmas Cookies (Christmas Sugar Cookies, Jelly Filled, Raspberry Ribbons, Raisin Cookies, Wreaths, Pecan Tassies, Neapolitans, Peanut Butter Blossoms, Turtle Pockets, German Chocolate Cookies, Coconut Cookies, Apricot Shortbread and Santa's Whiskers).
Libby did amazingly well icing the cookies....
Putting Sprinkles on the cookies.... And of course, eating the cookies!
She had to make sure that everyone tasted her delicious creations, too.
Libby is crazy about her Aunt Grace! Here, the two of them took the foil off of Hersey Kisses so that we could put them on the Peanut Butter Blossoms. And yes, that is a whole table of cookies you see! Grace caught Libby licking the just-opened Kisses and putting them back on the plate!! We had to have her eat the ones that she licked.
Nonna let Libby help smash the Kisses on the cookies.
While Nonna was teaching Libby the skill of cookie-making, Pop was teaching Libby a skill of his own! He taught her how to lick her finger and dip it into a bowl of sprinkles!
With all of that sugar coursing through her veins, Pop and Libby burned off some energy by dancing in the living room!

Libby and Gracie color a beautiful photo! What a fun day! Thanks, Nonna & Pop!
